Default Pushing too hard with JJ?

What do you think about my preflop raise? Given that there were so many callers and initials PFR has bet into you, what do you do next?

Raise so the rest of the hand can play itself.

I think that maybe you took it a bit too far with JJ. that hand is really not a hand that you want to reraise with because it is 50% vulnerable to over cards on the flop. I think that the only time that it would be ok to reraise with JJ is when you know that you can outplay the other player.
let me know what you think.

I was really just trying to isolate preflop raiser and see how he liked his hand. However that backfired and everyone called.

Is MP1 aggressive? If so, I'd probably re-raise too, to try and isolate, like you did, as well. And then I'd cry after everyone called. If MP1 isn't that aggressive, I generally just call PF raises with JJ.

On the flop, I'd probably raise, both to see where I'm at and to try and knock out the CO.

I think if you are going to play your JJ on the flop, go ALL IN . Pot is about $18 to you. You only got about $23 left.

Absolutely plus some donkey might fold QQ...hell half the this forum would lol

Regardless of whether MP1 has AA, KK, QQ here, overall, in the long run at these stakes, the play of reraising with with JJ then pushing on the flop with this big of a pot size is definitely +EV .

I'm not sure about that one. especially at that level.People tend to get tunnel vision when they get the aces. they get in "call anything/raise anything at all times" with the pocket rockets. Its not the fact of going all in with the Jacks on the flop when there is 18$ in the pot and you have 23$ left that is bothering me, its more the +EV thing. I use to play that way and push with the Jacks but like I said before, People with Aces, Kings and even AK would end up calling me becuase of that tunnel vision and sometimes draw out on me. According to my stats on PT I did have a +EV but it was a very small one. Not enough to justify pushing in my stack, when with most tables at that level people don't really take into account pot odds and a 3-5$ bet into that 18$ pot would of been the same as pushing with 23$.
tell me what you think

The reraise preflop J-J isn't so bad. My question is that you raise up to 3.50 out of stack of 27$. Any input whether or not the amount that he raised has any bearing to whether the raise was a good idea?

Flop wise, you were unlucky to get all those callers. But, at this point, it's either a fold/all-in raise given the pot size.
