[ QUOTE ]
I just saw the trailer for the new version of Pride and Prejudice. Two thoughts immediately crossed my mind. 1. - This might be worth watching again, even though I know the story, on the hopes of seeing Kiera Knightly wear something that might end up turning me on. 2. - My terrible shame at the realization that although these were much better looking sisters then the A&E version, I liked Colin Firth better as Mr. Darcy. Humilate me - I deserve it. RB [/ QUOTE ] dude, you ARE a man. Hell, I think you're THE man. 1) you never shy away from letting us know what you truly like and interests you. 2) Jane Austen was awesome. Movies from Jane Austen's books are less so, but still worthwhile. 3) Colin Firth will ALWAYS be a better Mr. Darcy than some newcomer. |

i'd actually say it's the hottest picture of her that i've seen. i would agree with anybody that she's totally hot, but i wouldn't be the first to throw her name into a hat on a hot list if you know what i mean. she's not a "target" of mine, but i think that picture is awesome and it's probably upgraded her.
and dom as far as whiskeytown not being afraid to let us know what he thinks, crap like the mary chapin thread isn't interesting at all. don't encourage him too much |

I agree with almost everything you said. Good picture.

Have to agree that a guy "coming out" on the forums to say that he likes Jane Austen is pretty ballsy. Even a little ironic coming from a guy named whiskeytown, a name that suggests something more like he'd confess he likes running a wheelbarrow into the side of his shed and then falling over asleep on the lawn till morning.

Not only that, they wear whatever shoes they like when they watch it. Sometimes very pretty ones.

Too right. I fact I'm gonna drag up tonight and watch 'Wizard of Oz' again just to prove it to myself.

Just to clarify my opinion on this: It's not that I think it's unmanly to like this movie or Mary Chapin Carpenter. I would make fun of anyone, male or female, that liked this movie and/or Mary Chapin Carpenter.

I've loved Keira Knightley since "The Phantom Menace"...but she seriously needs to get a boob job. What was hot when she was 14 is not so hot when she is 21.
