Default 15/30 bad value bet...

or am i paranoid from a downswing?

Both original raiser and coldcaller are on the very loose side, sb is rather tight aggressive.

Party Poker 15/30 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].

Flop: (13 SB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, MP2 checks, Hero bets, CO calls, SB calls, MP2 calls.

Turn: (8.50 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, MP2 checks, Hero bets, CO calls, SB calls, MP2 calls.

River: (12.50 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, MP2 checks, Hero bets...

Final Pot: 14.50 BB

What do you think of the river bet? Am I just feeling weak tight about this one because im running bad?

I think it's fine by the sound of it though you lost to JT.

i like it, if JT is there then u just gotta go with it, alot of other hands could be here. QK QTs QJs, also diamonds.
I can't see the TAA sb calling 3 with JTs, so im guessing AQ or KQs

or AKspades

either way IMO you are ahead of more thans than your behind to, i like the bet.

How often is someone going to bluff raise the river into multiple opponents? Not very often. The only likely way you are going to pushed off a better hand is if you show weakness on the river, CO bets and SB raises on a resteal, so don't let that happen.

If you check, CO bets and you can close the action for one bet you're going to do it, right? So think of that one big bet as being commited to the pot already and just bet it and fold to a raise.

With the pot this big, you're liable to get called by a TON of hands, esp with those loosies behind you. You easily have potential to win 2 bets here from them, as they'd probably pay off with just about any pair. This must just be a running bad thing, as I think you're getting very good value on this river bet.

I thought this one was extremely straightforward as well; given my recent results I just wanted to check to make sure I wasnt value betting too often in multiway pots when a possible draw comes in on the river. Ive just been second guessing myself a bit and needed some reassurance. Thanks.

Bet it and forget it. If someone has J10, [censored] happens in life...but you still played it well.
