why is there a link advertising 22+% rakeback from partypoker on raketherake?

[/ QUOTE ]

If you had clicked the link you would have read this...

[ QUOTE ]
As is common news in the forums, a decision is expected from Party
poker regarding a new internal loyalty scheme they are introducing
to replace rakeback. How this system will work and when it will be
implemented, we do not know. We would recommend that all
players looking to open an account wait for the announcement
before creating a new account with us or any other affiliate.

[/ QUOTE ]

Which is basically what Jess said in her post here!

[/ QUOTE ]

whatever dude, i dont want to get into the fact that she has called out another affiliate and saying "No affiliate has struck any deal with Party at all. We havent and have never pertained to. " while they are advertising 22+% rakeback on their site as well. and i believe, as of last night, there was no note about waiting yet they were still advertising signing up with them for the 22
+%.

It's been "tomorrow" for many days already. This is getting boring.

Hi YoYo

You're right there was no note there yesterday.
We got our information today and decided to advise all new and existing RTR players that rather than sign up now they should wait until something comes out from Party . We are not the sort to scaremonger and get people to sign up out of blind panic. Unlike a few afiliates we have never claimed to have any such agreement in place with Party. And I assure you they dont either. Party are running this show 100%. They'll set the rules and when they say "Jump" we'll all ask "how high?"

And as Stoxtrader mentioned earlier it will not be to all players on their system, merely to those players who know about rakeback...which is an extremely small fraction of the entire poker market, so the last thing they want to do is make this a general in house player reward system available to all.

Regards

Jess

Good news. The longer they think the better chance they'll come up with a good answer. Or better, see the ones like Stox has provided and adopt them.

I haven't received word from Party on this yet, but it looks like the decision won't be made until tomorrow. For that reason, I'm taking the sticky off this thread. Another sticky will be made when further details become available.
