That being said, it's tough to decide what to do on the river. He slowed down to your raise on the turn, where I would probably read you for an overpair. Yet then he check-raises the river.

Given the he-knows-that-I-know-that-he-knows level of stuff here, I really think he's not just donking with you. He has to expect a call from you here, and as such, I can't imagine your hand is good.
