Default How many bets?

Live 10/20

Assume average villain

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG calls, <font color="#CC3333">UTG+1 raises</font>, <font color="#666666">4 folds</font>, Button calls, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, Button calls.

Flop: (13 SB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, Button folds.

Turn: (7.50 BB) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, UTG+1 calls.

River: (9.50 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">UTG+1 raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">UTG+1 4-bets...</font>

Stacks are roughly equal at about 20BB deep.

edit: Just realized that calling the 4-bet would be a viable option too, but I can't change the poll so um I guess just vocalize your thoughts if you feel that way.

Default Re: How many bets?

I think the dialogue goes something like this:

Bet 1: Your bet says you have some kind of hand.

Bet 2: Villain's raise says he has something pretty good, probably a minimum of AK or more likely trips or better.

Bet 3: Your raise pretty much says you can beat trip jacks.

Bet 4: Villain's reraise says "so can I," and probably indicates a boat or broadway. (Note, we can now put villain on a range of about 5 hands--AT, QJ, KJ, KK, JJ).

Bet 5: Your reraise says you can probably beat a majority of those hands, which indeed you can (I won't break it down, but it's clear you are ahead of the above range).

Bet 6: Villain's raise says "[censored] off."

So I call the 6th bet.
