So I gather the drafting goes edtost to NLSoldier, NLSoldier picks twice, then it goes back to edtost . . . then edtost picks twice? I'm not used to this drafting stuff.

I know it may be too late, but I'd say that the more people who have the opportunity to play, the better. (and the bigger the prize pool). Rather than seeing people shut out of the drafting, I'd say just add more teams.

I'm in. even though i don't really know what the competition is. assuming HULA is heads up limit association? (see the powerful inference abilities team captains?)

(is it a series of heads up limit matches between teams w/some kind of scoring system to divide up the prize pool?) anyways if it's only $50 and a couple hours a week i can definitely do it.

i currently play 5-10 and 10-20 shorthanded and heads up at UB about 50 hours/week. i also play 4-5 $100 HU NL matches/day. (i only mention this to provide some draft background info) i'm a significant HUL winner, but don't know how meaningful this is as

i usually challenge people that call me a fish in 6 man games--i figure if they can't deal w/the fluid starting hand stds of 6 man, they prob don't play HU. so it works out to be pretty good game selction to say the least

anyways, would love to have a chance to play some really good heads up players for bitty stakes and examine the HH so i hope i get picked.

peace,
wonka

other than the time it might take to finish, I also don't see why there should be a limit to the # of teams.

but i suppose it could get cumbersome with an unlimited pool of people.

The more people you add, the more likely you are to run into the main problems of unreliable captains and players who don't play their matches. For Evan's sake I'd say keep it at 10 teams. Any more and he'll go crazy. I'd also suggest that Evan split the league into two conferences and appoint a commissioner of each conference like gonores did last year. It seemed to help lift some of the weight of running this thing off of him.
