Default Warning to Americas Card Room Small Skin Players

If your ACR skin has stayed on the network then nothing has changed, continue to expect fast cashouts. Be sure though that your skin has not tried to pull a fast one on you by switching networks without telling you.

It seems ACR is dumping Dobrosoft and switching software. They have dumped most of their smaller skins. I know ACR fell out of favor but I am sure some still play there, I did, the games were just too juicy. Here is what happened to me.

Several affiliates offered a poker room called Mega Comps Poker on my website. I played the room to be able to write an accurate review of it and review the affiliate that I signed up through. The games were so good I decided to continue playing for the monthly bonuses.

On May 10th I deposited to play in what looked like a good game. Quickly I realized I was not on ACR's network. I then figured out this was on Poker World now. This skin had changed networks and didnt feel like this was important enough to tell their players. I have a personal reason for not liking Poker World (it has nothing to do with cashouts as I am sure they are just as stable as ACR) so I went to cash out less then an hour after my deposit. I also emailed their support to voice my opinion of how shady it is to change networks and not tell your players and the website still had a link to ACR live support with ACR's phone number on the index page.

Normally these would be credited the next morning, this wasnt but no big deal I can wait for my $149. After it went about 60 hours I emailed the cashier, it bounced, I emailed support, it bounced, I went to the website and megacompspoker.com now forwards to a Pacific Poker affiliate page.

I decided it was time to be concerned about my cashout. The reason I trusted this poker room was it was backed by a huge sportsbook (Betcris). This was no longer the case. I emailed ACR, they were no help and also ignored a separate email asking them for a list of skins that left or were kicked off their network. I emailed Poker World a couple of times back and forth and they gave me a link to a contact form to Miami Poker, I used their form and it isnt programmed correctly so it didnt work, I found a live chat and the rep said "we are having temporary cashout difficulties" which I have heard before waiting an excessive amount of time for a cashout.

If you play on the ACR network before you play another hand you should make sure your skin is still actually on the ACR network and not Poker World. If you want to play on Poker World play directly on their software, after what I am going through I must strongly suggest that for the time being until they get organized and can prove they are solvent that you not deposit into these rooms.

I received an unsolicited email from someone in Dobrosoft that was borderline rude that I was panicking over nothing but had the right to be a bit upset about this time it had taken and I would have my cashout Monday. I guess this Miami Poker place forwarded the email to them. There seemed to be a mistaken identity because the email spoke as if I knew him. I will post when this cashout comes.

I am not trying to bash Dobrosoft, many large sportsbooks use them although some of their licensees have had checkered pasts. I just wanted to warn players who play on ACR what could be happening to them, this does not affect any other Dobrosoft poker room cashouts.
