Pharoah\'s club needs focus: to ten and others
the various threads are all over the place. i think we need to get some decisions made; the scrambled nature of discussion is driving me a bit batty.
the nature of this decion-making, as i far as i can tell, is that Ten absorbs all the white noise, makes decisions based on that absorption, guides the artists, and then posts pics. ten: lay those mock-ups on us, man. we need to refocus discussion.

[/ QUOTE ] I understand your frustration, and I could see it coming. I feel the same way. But I honestly feel that posting designs that aren't up to my own standards is not the way to go. That will cause even more confusion, and will not help speed up the process. [/ QUOTE ] This is SPOT ON! This is exactly how it works. And when you say "noise," boy do you mean it! There are a lot of opinions out there, and I happily put myself in the position to vet all of them and make an informed decision. Take any one of those polls from this week, and see if you can count the different ways that someone wants to go. That's normal and expected. I don't always go the way that the majority does, but I usually do. And it's normal that everyone agrees with me, even if I don't state my opionion first. That means I'm REALLY going the right way. Sometimes someone points out an option that I hadn't thought of. Like the idea of having ALL DENOMINATIONS, but also having some blanks of one of them. This was an excellent idea, and will likely be what I do. SO I think these polls and discussions are very healthy for the process, and are what will make this set (like my last one), great by collaboration. Please be patient, we want it done right. I don't want a half-baked design going into production, and every time I see a ceratin chip I cringe, thinking I could have waited three more days to have a perfect $25 chip (or whichever). Ten

i'm patient. it's easy to be patient when i don't have the money yet, exactly. and this is a grand undertaking, so i know it takes time. but this forum has been jacked up with all these threads.
mostly venting. i appreciate what you do, and look forward to seeing the pics.
