Poker Academy Pro 2.0

I'll second this. I like this software. I use Poker Pro mainly to practice my NL tourney play, even though the program's bots are probably better at limit. But you can create your own robot opponents, or create any number of lineups..supertight, superaggressive etc.

Graphics/sound are very good, and the latest version corrects some stability problems.

Plus 2.0 has improved and more detailed stats, the ability to simulate numerous tourney structures (including the WSOP main event) and I have always liked the showdown calculator.

Poker Academy Pro, version 2.

Albert Silver's reply is very good, so I'll not cover that ground again. However, I'd like to point out that it's possible to import your hand histories from PA Pro to Poker Tracker. This is possible by using a free application written by a third party.

Using Poker Tracker with PA Pro is an unbeatable combination for increasing your skill at low limit hold'em.

I like the nut game browser from nutpokersoftware dot com. If you play at Party Poker, then you can just import your hands with a click and it will show you your stats, the hands to look at quickly, everyone's action, etc. Poker Tracker for me is much more difficult to run. You can use this software much easier. Good luck!

Yes, you can play NL games on Poker Academy. I'm unsure whether you can NL cash games but you can definitely play NL Sng's because I have Poker Academy and I play the NL Sng's on it the most often. I have to hand it to them, they did the NL Sng's very well. That is probably my most favorite and fun feature of the software. I have version 1.5 and they have 2.0 out now but you have to pay for it.

Check the price for the upgrade. <www.poker-academy.com>

I think it's pretty reasonable, especially considering the significant improvements and feature additions.
