Heads up against aggressive player...
Cryptologic $1/$2, 9 handed The BB is sL-a-A.
I open raised on the button with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] The big blind calls, the flop comes J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and BB bets into me (5.5 SB)... How would you continue? |

Re: Heads up against aggressive player...
that's real nasty. HU. could have a pair, flush draw, KT...I would raise the flop. If three-bet, call and fold the turn UI.
I wouldn't give them credit as sLA-A that they had something that crippled me...yet. Regards, Pete Harris |

Re: Heads up against aggressive player...
I did raise, he did 3-bet me and he did lead the turn (which was 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]).
What do you put him on after this? Actually I don't think the raise helped me very much. I guess he could still have just a pair (in this case the pot size gives me odds to see the river, even if I'm reverse dominated) and he could still be semi-bluffing with a draw (in this case folding would be a blunder). He could have two pair or a set (which is less likely since he didn't re-raise PF and he didn't go for a check-raise on the flop or turn), but in that case I'm still in decent shape since I have 4 outs against him, so I guess I have to take one more card, no? |
