Default Extracting bets with AK.

Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

CO is a decent player. Maybe a bit eager preflop, but otherwise fine.

Preflop: SamIAm is SB with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">5 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">CO raises</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SamIAm 3-bets</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, CO calls.

Flop: (7 SB) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SamIAm bets</font>, CO calls.

Turn: (4.50 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SamIAm bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">CO raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SamIAm 3-bets</font>, CO calls.

River: (10.50 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SamIAm bets</font>, CO calls.

Final Pot: 12.50 BB

Preflop is obvious. On the flop, I felt betting was the only option. Checking was too suspicious after 3betting preflop.

On the turn, I'm no longer worried about the straight or the flush. (If he has QTs, he deserves to win.) The thing is, is the bet/3bet good? I thought about calling and then check/raising the river, but that'd probably earn me the same as 3betting and then betting-out.

Whatcha think? Did I go too fast with the ~nuts heads-up?

Nh. If you'd whiffed on a c/r you'd have to kill yourself so this line is better.

Sorry. You're right; the question came up while reading hands after the session, but I knew the answer before I posted.

Interestingly enough, villian DID have QTs, he just had clubs, not spades.
