Because most people would check raise if they had the flush. I'd instant call too, esp with the King of Spades in my hand to make the call easier.

Btw, whats your name on Party so I can avoid you for future reference?

well you are definately a donk, there is only room for one egomaniac on these boards and i think that dali and myself are currently fighting for that position. as for your play, i think it is pretty standard.
