Default LSU/Alabama

Pinnacle has Alabama +116. That looks like a great bet to me. What am I missing here?

That LSU is clearly better and deserves to be a slight favorite.

Look for Alabama +2 to be this week's college BSP pick.

you don't need much of an offense with a defense that good. Not to mention, LSU doesn't have much of an offense either

This would maybe be true if the game weren't in alabama, but given that, and the fact that LSU hasn't been very impressive this year themselves, this line is slightly off. This should be much more in the range of a pick to Alabama -3

I agree LSU hasn't been super-impressive either. I think both teams are overrated.

FWIW Sagarin predictor has this line at about LSU -1.

I don't see value here, but I never see it anywhere.

P.S. Line on Pinnacle opened at Alabama +2 (-105) and already moved to +2.5 (+102). Someone who bets early must have thought LSU -2 was a good bet. Hmmmmmm...
