Back in the Kiddie Pool-2 A4s hands
After taking some time off from poker to regain enjoyment in playing, I have deposited some money in my account. Little rusty, and its marginal hands like this that make me uncomfortable.

Hand 1------
Fold that river. Calling there is very bad. The PF call is also marginal. Hand 2------ Again, PF is marginal, but okay if the game was very passive. Fold the turn. |

Re: Back in the Kiddie Pool-2 A4s hands
I'd say the turn should have been a fold on hand one as well.

I think you can safely fold on each street in hand 1.

[/ QUOTE ] calling the river in hand 1 isn't that bad, i think PF call is bad. PF call in hand 2 is easy. 1/2 hands go in the microlimits forum. |

Hand 1: Fold PF. Fold the flop. Fold someplace.
Hand 2: PF is OK. I check/fold this flop - if there was a diamond on the board, maybe call 1 not 2. |

Thanks for the responses. Looking at it now, Hand 1 is a clear fold preflop. For some reason, probably rust and multi-tabling, I thought more people called. Anyway, I was all set to fold the river until the other player folded. Then, I was looking at a 10.5 BB pot and thought there was 1 in 10 chance that I was good there, so I called. Better had AK and MHWG.
Hand 2, the flop bet is bad and the flop turn is bad, I agree. BB had 43 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] for the small flush. Thanks for the replies. |
