I dislike Emmitt and it should've been Barry's record.

[/ QUOTE ]

Not only should it be his record but he should have shattered that record and would have stayed a healthy pace above Emmitt.

I think it "should" be Walter's record.

Whatever that means.

Why this was easy

If you watched the Steelers or Jets every week last year, then this should be obvious. You heard it 5 tmes a game for the last 8 games.

He is also so shifty he never seems to take a brutal hit. Bettis has probably taken millions more pound feet of force by tacklers in his career.

I got all 5, and IN order! I thought I was reaching with Bettis, but I couldn't think of anyone else, knowing none of the "old schoolers" such as Brown, Simpson, Dorsett, Dickerson, etc would crack the top 5, and George wasn't quite there. Dickerson at 6 kinda suprised me. I'd have had him around 7 or 8.

As for the rest of the top 20, I'd have been decent. Terry Allen was a shocker, though. Didn't he have two artificial knees during one of his 1,000 yard seasons? I know he had like 3 season ending knee surgeries. Hard to believe the dude could walk, much less crack the top 20 all time!

Default Imagine this for a moment.

C Stepnoski, Mark
G Allen, Larry
G Newton, Nate
T Tuinei, Mark
T Williams, Erik
TE Novacek, Jay
WR Irvin, Michael
WR Harper, Alvin
RB Payton, Walter
FB Johnston, Daryl
QB Aikman, Troy

I think I just got some cold shivers.
