Default Party 50 nlhe vs party 25?

Hey there.

I COULD just datamine this and then look at some hands, but that would take a damn long time and not necessarily be accurate (small sample size).

Anyone want to let me know their experience going from nl25 to nl50 on party?

I play mostly on UB

I prefer 50 personally.

Semibluffing actually has a chance there.

25 yu are better off just nut peddling. And I dont feel like playing 25 really gives you that much room to work on improving your game.

It probably just seems like im picking on you, zaxx (im not! :-) )

but I think NL25 does teach some things and can improve various aspects of a persons game. hand selection, playing flops, beating up loose passives, etc.

also, and it has been a little while since i played eieht limit, but I dont think there is much difference.

I don't think there's a big jump. You'll see more solid people on the 50 than the 25 but if you can beat up the 25 game you shouldn't have too much trouble winning on the 50 tables. Just play tight in the beginning and get a sense of your table flow and play from there. As always, you should step down if you feel like you're out-matched.

When I moved up to the 50's I got spanked a few times by people slow playing and trapping. I wasn't prepared for that from my experience in the 25's. The 25's were a bit more straight forward.

Well, I'm new to the $25 tables, and doing much better since they changed the format to deeper stacks. However, I got hurt a bit by people trapping me.

I'll probably reside at the $25 tables for a bit before moving up (get a little experience, post a few hands, etc.).

The difference in play between 3am and 10am is incredible though. The average pot size drops by a third, and I get trapped much more often.

OOC, what are long-term winrates like at NLHE? At microlimit (0.50/1 limit holdem), 2big bet per 100 hands is fine, 3/100 is great, 4/100 is crushing, and 6/100 is unsustainable.

(specifically, I'm looking for winrates over 10-30k hands at party's NL $25, but other sampled would be cool to know.)

well, at the .5/1 tables, 2bb/100 is basically 1 bb per table hour.

or $1.

As you move up through the limits, the hands come faster as people have less of a difficult time figuring out what to do (players improve), so 2bb/100 is a little more than 1bb per table hour.

However, it's considerably harder to get 2bb/100 as you go up to 2/4 and 3/6.

Anyways, what winrate should I go for at the pp 25$ tables (over the long-term, not just a good run).

Try for like 8BB/100 then improve to like 12, when you are consistently beating that 13,14 might be time to make a move to 100 tables IF you have the roll.
