Default KQ at 1/2: stop or stay the course?

Primary villain has been playing a lot of hands, so has a super-wide range to call from the BB. Has been pretty aggressive postflop, but I haven't been at the table long enough to see much in the way of showdowns. Been betting pretty much whenever checked to.

5 Handed 1/2

Hero is button w K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Preflop: 1 fold, 1 call, hero raises , blinds and CO all call. 4 to the flop.

Flop (4 players, 8sb) 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
check, villain bets, CO calls, Hero raises, sb calls, villain reraises, everyone calls

Turn (4 players 10bb) T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
check, villain bets, call, Hero ...?

Time for the king and queen to ride off into the sunset or should we call down and see if this guy is some nut?

If the flop action is supposed to go bet then raise, I would 3-bet. If someone bet before you (especially villain) then I call down. That ten may have counterfeited villain's K8 two-pair.

My bad. Sorry about that. Edited the post. Villain bet out on the flop, I raised, he 3-bet.

yes, it should be. but he said something about ... 'ride off into the sunset', which implies that he was thinkinga bout folding. telling him not to fold is much easier than determining if we should call or raise, so that's what i did =P

If you're thinking about folding this, you're wasting your time playing poker, because your mindreading skills could be solving murders and world mysteries.

Call, if we raise and are reraised... what we going to do? Calling down seems spew. Folding seems weak.

as i dont know what to do when raised i call. Simple yet logical reason behind why i call

The read on villan is, well worthless if at all a read as alot of guys will bet when checked to and in this case he wasn't check to.

he's got a wide range but thats all we know. He could of been running hot if you didn't see showdowns.

Not sure if the T helps or hindered us, We counterfitted his K8 but are behind trips/Full house. I doubt he's got just one pair of kings right now.

Did you call the flop for hand protection(SB)? Or are you just pooping yourself?

I like capping the flop, and calling turn if villian leads again . I don't fold here.
