Computer Guru\'s Network adapter help
Hello,
I have SBC DSL and one of the computers on my network always disconnects once or twice a week. Normally I just unplug the router, plug it back in the computer is fine, but not this time. The lights on the router are flashing and the light on the network adapter is flashing. In network connections manager says "limited or no connectivity" and then flahses to "Network cable unplugged". In device mangager in says the Adapter is working properly. I unplugged the ethernet cable and plugged it in to my laptop and I was on the net just fine. So I've narrowed it down to the Microsoft PCI adapter MN-130. It worked fine up until a week or so ago. I checked for a new driver with no luck. I also turned off the power saving option as I read that might be a problem. I googled the problem, but I can't find anything helpful. Should I just buy a new adapter even though XP says this one has no conflicts and is running proprerly? Any help would be apperciated. 1.linksys BEFSR41 router 2. Speedstream 5100 B DSL modem 3. Microsoft PCI adapter MN-130 4. Win XP SP2 Edit: I also tried shutting off the XP firewalls on all computers |

Re: Computer Guru\'s Network adapter help
You are asking a very technical question which would probably get a better response in the forums at a techie site such as DSL Reports . I wouldn't advise asking poker questions there though
