Can I fold this river? The odds were just too good to pass up.

hmm...

I would rather put him all in on the turn after he bets $1.25 than check-calling river.

I usually check JJ in the BB, so I don't really know if preflop and flop are good, I'll let some one else comment on that.

PF and flop are pretty standard (at least for me), maybe bet more like $3 on the flop.

Turn and river is were I got lost.

Well, look at it this way, if he bet's all in on the turn your getting about 3.3:1 odds, so a call can't be too bad. His weak-ass bet is pretty much an all-in becase if you call it, it pot commits you, as you have found out.

So, I like to check the turn in the hopes he checks behind. If he had bet all in I would call. Since he bet what he did I go ahead and check-raise all in, because the times he has a draw and the river goes check-check costing you EV outweigh the chance he is bluffing, and will bluff the river when checked to IMO.

edit: upon further thought, just go ahead and stick it in on the turn. His flop call might be a draw.
