Loose $3/$6 game at Tropicana, AC

Here in EP with K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

One limper, hero raises, button, SB, BB, and the limper all call.

Flop: A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
SB checks, BB check, limper bets, hero folds.

I don't think I like this but I can't comment if you don't go into the hand a little more.

Why'd you lay it down? What do you think? Did you have any reads?

Situation sucks, but the fold seems okay. God knows how many bets we need to invest to goto a showdown here that we lose more often than not, and we're not very likely to improve.

Nice hand, I guess, but someone's at least got to make the point that:

This hand is basically unplayable without reads.

Usually this is a fold, but plenty of players will simply bet out the flop with any piece--any pair, any kind of draw, etc...--and folding against them might be misguided.

This is a lot easier with reads. In a spot like this I think autofolding is real bad.

This is terrible. This is usually a bluff or a semi-bluff. An ace normally check-calls or check-raises.

You are playing poker, ya know.
