Default pokerroom 5-max

I've recently experimented playing 5/10 at pokerroom 5-max tables, just for bonus purposes. And I'm pleased to see that there are loads of fish there, very Party-like. But I've only dabbled there so don't know whether this is representative. I also am enjoying playing 5-handed, as opposed to 6-handed.

Any other opinions about the level of play at Pokeroom?

games are very hit and miss, some good lags get about in those games and sometimes they are very average.

Really hard to get a game sometimes. I played 3/6 there a year ago or so, and just getting a few games could be a hassle, let alone if they're decent.

A few fish though, so it wasn't terrible.

I remember one more thing they only rake 50c max in HU pots, so I just started heaps of my own tables and hopefully got someone crap to join, it was easy to spot the other regulars who were decent HU and I just sit out if they join my table. Yeh so I think that's why I was always able to find 3 or 4 tables to play.

Also, theres a 35% rakeback affiliate for a pokeroom skin.

Wish I had been smart enough to think about this before creating an account. I actually have my account at Holdem Poker. Perhaps I'll investigate rakeback through another skin, should I find the tables consistently fishy.

Maybe the skill levels have changed there recently?

FWIW,

I used to play 3/6 at BetonBet. You should be wary of anyone from "London" as all the rakeback players were listed as from London at the time.

Easy to spot the sup breaux.

Pokerroom's got a decent pool of fish, but a few multitabling tags can kill a single limit. I personally run terrible anytime I play there, I've dropped 250 bets at 10/20 over some measly(5K hands?) sample, I can just never hit flops - and I don't have RB there so I stopped playing there. Also the games get pretty thin 10/20 and up, though nights and weekends it gets pretty good.
