Default POKERROOM

this is the only site that i have played on and have been doing so for about six months. it has been profitable for me but i get the feeling that people on 2+2 prefer other more popular sites such as partypoker. what are some common critisizms of pokerroom and what are some of your specific critisisms?

I just started playing there, and I agree that the software sucks, but on the rake note, it actually seems to be the lowest rake that I've played at (PP, PS and PR). And, somehow I lost $5.50 from my account...

Actually, doesn't Stars have one of the lowest rakes out there. At least for the big sites anyways.

The rakes rediclious if playing below 10/20. At 10/20 or higher pokerroooms is fine.

if you have an active bonus at Pokerroom, the bad rake structure is tolerable because 100% of whatever they take off the tables from you is funneled back at the end, no matter what limit you play.

however, there are still better bonus deals out there in general (especially for lower limits). without the bonus and no chance for rakeback, I would NOT play at pokerroom at all.

i personally think the software is 100x better than party, but that probably has something to do with the fact that it was the only site i played on for my first year of online poker.

i also get 35% r*keback on one of the skins which no longer offers rakeback.

PokerRoom is not a rock garden. Next to Party, it is probably the fishiest site I have played on. As for the software and rake?
