Easy flop bet.

No, but easy turn raise.

I wondered about when to show my stuff, especially against players that are just terrible. Would a flop bet look like a steal, or would they all pee themselves and go running? And if I bet the flop, I'm probably limiting any action after I raise the next time. And certainly 9 BBs wouldn't have gone in on the river.

Players were cold-calling turn raises and paying off everywhere so I wanted to keep everyone around to hit their boats.

The turn raise might have been a good idea. Overcards to the T would have hung around. But if something under a T comes out on the river, I'll get no action (unless a T, JJ, QQ, KK is out there. But I'd have heard from those pre-flop or on the turn).

I love betting that flop. It looks just like a steal because the blank mass that I like to call the "unimaginative mass of poker players," loves to think that everyone plays the say and that no one would bet quads. If you get raised, call it on the flop and c/r them on the turn.

So you make it a rule to play any flop (even a monster) aggressively when you've taken the lead pre-flop?

I like the thought of the fake-steal-smooth-call-a-raise play.

I would've loved a check-raise, but I was on the button and the action man was in the SB. I needed him to bet out. He raised the river so I got him that way.

I once capped every street with flopped quads. I had TT and the flop was TT7. He had 77. He said he didn't think anyone would play a boat or quads that fast. Slowplaying is for fish.

the most i've won woith quads is $228.00 when i flopped quad 9's vs. Q's full of nines, but this hand was quite satisfying, as my opponent was the aggressor by far, and only had Ace high.
