Default Oceanside Card Room

I am going to be in Oceanside CA for a day this week and might have time for a bit of poker. After a quick internet search, I found the Oceanside Card Casino. Anyone know anything about it?

Rico

I think you're looking for Ocean's Eleven. It's the place to play in the area. Just off of I-5 at Mission Ave.

Is there any public transportation to Oceans 11? I'm just asking because I'll be there on business next month and won't have a car. My hotel is about 40 miles from Oceans. Wishful thinking I'm sure...

Thanks,
Jeff

I'm not sure where the nearest train stop is, but even if it's where I think it could possibly be, I doubt you'd want to make the walk. I seriously doubt there's a good bus route. Public transportation in San Diego sucks.

40 miles in which direction? SD has Sycuan and Temecula has Pechanga which are both nice rooms and might be closer. But, yea, public transportation sucks.

I'm staying on Harbor Drive in Downtown, San Francisco. Anywhere easy to get to from there sans car? I kind of wanted to go to Oceans for the bigger games, but anywhere decent would be good.

I live in San Marcos, CA which is about 15 minutes from Oceanside. Ocean's 11 definitely has the best games going around. Friendly atmosphere good dealers. Many games for whatever limits you play. You may find the play up at Pachanga in Temecula a little softer. They have a brand new poker room. It's about a 40 minute drive from Oceanside. If you're in downtown San Diego just play at Sycuan, Viejas, or Barona. There is a trolly and train that runs along the coast. The bus system is a mess get a taxi or rent a car.

I used to live in SF and I have no idea where Harbor Drive is. But, if you are downtown, you can walk to CalTrain and take it to Artichoke Joe's. It's across the street from the train station. I dunno if they spread bigger than 15/30 though. I would guess the only regular Bay Area games 40/80 and up are at Bay101, and I don't know if that is close to a CalTrain Station.
