X Box and/or Play Station 2...worth getting?

Ok, not a video game guy at all. I remember the days of Space Invaders. But thinking of getting an X Box or PS2 and wondering if I should get back into this for a fun/time killer type of thing.

If so, which one is better and any recommendations on good games?

Ninja Gaiden and Halo 1-2 alone are worth buying an xbox for.

don't get an xbox unless you are into halo or sports

xbox is the way to go. If you have any computer skill Id suggest looking into a modchip and bigger hard drive to put into the xbox as well. Its pretty easy to do and makes the xbox sweeter than it already is.

I remember the Space Invaders >> Asteroids >> Pac Man >>> Donkey Kong. Hell, I used to play pinball when I was a little kid. Now I got an X-box.

I think I am the worlds worst x-box player. I took too much time off and I am all thumbs when it comes to the controls. I got a ten year old cousin who kicks my ass. He lives far away, so he can't even teach me how to play. I think that would be helpful, have someone who knows what they are doing.

On Madden, I am always throwing to the wrong guy. I get dizzy when I play Grand Theft auto. I can beat Max Payne at the easiest level, that was cool. I like the NASCAR game even though I am not into racing. I can't really brake and follow a line, so I slow down by crashing into the walls and other cars.

So X-box looks great, but if you are like me, be prepared to suck.
