How to maximize/line check
I think I need a refresher course. What's the standard line in this spot with a medium overpair like TT? Does anyone play the turn differently? Also, how do I make the most out of the PFR while simultaneously minimizing loss while behind?
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (9 handed) converter saw flop|saw showdown Button ($84.5) SB ($18) BB ($106.3) UTG ($144.2) UTG+1 ($100) MP1 ($196.6) MP2 ($100) Hero ($227.3) CO ($91.9) Preflop: Hero is MP3 with T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Usually I'll check to the PFR, let him bet, see what the field does and respond accordingly (probably 70% call and lead turn with 30% check/raise). Here, because the flop was so coordinated, I wanted to lead through the PFR to see how he reacted. Does that make sense? All comments welcome. The Doc |

Re: How to maximize/line check
Lookin' good, although I might bet only half pot on the turn since you have a huge lead on most hands and it shouldn't be too hard to escape if an A or a 6 hits. (You have position too).
