Default Answer me this... at 1/2 - 3/6 6-max...

You are a typical unknown at said limits, meaning you are the unknown we talk about facing. Button is playing the role of one of us.

You limp A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] UTG, MP folds, CO folds, and Button raises. Blinds fold.

All you know/care is that Button appears to be tight - he doesn't know that any two cards can win.

Flop is 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

You check. The tight guy on the button bets, of course. You call, of course - you have a pair.

Turn is the K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].

How often do you check fold?

If we sucked at poker, how bad would we suck?

This is sort of a strange hypothetical. Maybe a useful thought exercise, but I'm not sure if this is the best way to get at it.

I guess this is the sort of thinking we need to do if we are the button with AJ and we are trying to decide whether to bet the turn?

obviously this is not some all-encompassing exercise that will allow us to play perfectly on the turn. it's not like a typical unknown needs a pair to call on the flop anyway. it's a hypothetical, and i'm curious how often we think the typical unknown player (who in this case will limp UTG with A7o and check call this flop) will check and fold to a bet on this turn.

it's something we can't even know - we only see when they call.

0-5%. 5% if villain showed down a full house the hand before with KQ. And he isnt making a mistake vs the standard TAG imo.

If I'm understanding this correctly, then we never fold here.

If I'm the guy who limped A7o UTG, I'm never folding here.
