Default Best laptop for 4-tabling?

I went to Best Buy today and no laptop has 1600 x 1200 resolution. Aren't there laptops where you can 4 table with no overlap?

I need a new computer b/c mine is slow, although my computer currently does have 1600 x 1200 resolution.

Anyone?

Thanks,
M

Any laptop with a WUXGA screen should do the trick. The 15" ones will have a resolution of 1900x1200. I've got a 15" WSXGA+ (1 down from it) at 1680x1050 that will do 4 with pretty minimal overlap.

Dell has them for sure, but I imagine there should be some computer stores stocking laptops with those screens. Just maybe not the big box store ones...

The Dell 9300 with WUXGA (1920x1200) is the nuts. The 6000 is the poor man's alternative. Dell has coupons fairly regularly so don't pay full price.

I bought a refurbished Dell XPS. It kicks A$$. I may soon add a additional monitor to 8-table.

Dell certainly sells in the UK - I bought my 9300 with WUXGA here and it is the 'nuts' - the 6000 with WXGA screen (1600x1200) would be the best budget laptop with the screen real estate needed to multitable - and it would be more portable - the 9300 is so big (17.4" widescreen) that it's more of a desktop replacement

Sorry to thread hijack, but is the only difference between the 9300 and the 6000 screen size? Same performance and stuff? The extra screen size sounds nice, but I don't know if I want to pay an extra $400-$500 for an additional 15% screen space.

Hey Tenth, how is the size of the tables on your screen? Is it okay? Because I'm looking at getting a 15.4'' monitor with 1900 x 1200 resolution and I'm wondering if the tables will be so small that it strains my eyes.

Here is the computer I'm thinking of getting instead of the Dell 9300:

I can get a lot better memory, processor, etc. but they don't have it in 17''.

What do you all think?
