Default Hey, AllVegas, what about the Paris

I was on the Paris, Las Vegas, web page and they had poker listed in the casino section. http://www.caesars.com/Paris/LasVega...ames/Poker.htm Is this new? and have you checked it out? It looks like actual poker and not the three card carnival game.

The fine print on the web page notes that the poker area is "[l]ocated adjacent to Sully's Bar in Bally's" and, indeed, essentially the same text is used on the Bally's site to describe their poker room.

Since Sully's is near the crossover between the two casinos, it appears that Caesar's management decided that the poker "room" is close enough to count as the poker room for both casinos. I place "room" in quotes since there are no walls, it's stuck right next to the bar, and there are slots nearby. A little bit too much like the Flamingo for my tastes.

I didn't like that room at all myself, too close to slots and such, WHEEEEEEEEEEEEL OF FORTUNE slot noise and players were a pretty unhappy bunch it seemed to me vs other places.

Hehe... I had forgotten about that damn "Wheel of Fortune" slot machine until just now.

Yeah, it's small, cramped, and calling it "no smoking" is a joke since players will leave a cigarette burning 3 feet outside of the "room" and take a drag between hands, exhaling the smoke when they get back to the table. Still, it can be fun and real fishy on graveyard.

Weak. Heard Bally's was fishy, but weak having the Paris trying to claim it.
