Default Overbetting the pot (NC)

I occasionally see guys who habitually overbet the flop. I also see these guys with large amount chips for the most part. Is it bad poker to use this style or just a more aggressive style of NL poker? Any input would be great.

Default Re: Overbetting the pot (NC)

I only will overbet the pot in certain situations that I feel that it would really pay off there was a really good article written I think by Sklansky about 2 months ago about it.

Good Ex. I'm holding a flush when a 4 card straight is on board, I will overbet this every time and everytime they hold the big end of the straight, I get paid off huge
