Default Quintessential Favre

Al Michaels just said:
"This is Quintessential Favre, and he throws deep in to double coverage and its intercepted."
They come back from commercial and say its as good as a punt. And people wonder where the anti-brett backlash comes from.

Thats more Al Michaels being Al Michaels than anything else. And they wonder why hardly anyone watches MNF anymore.

I would tend to think nobody watches MNF because they have been consistentl pitting sub 500 teams against each other. Not because of Al Michaels and Madden.

Say what you want... But Brett Favre is a better actor than Dan Marino will ever be. ;-)

Man, I was at M&T Field last night and that's exactly what the Packers fans were saying after that throw.

The only good part was that it was the coldest home game in Ravens history, so the beat down meant I could leave early. Too bad, I wanted to see Favre play well before he retired.

C'mon. He's the only football announcer that openly talks about gambling and point spreads. He rules.

Wholeheartedly agree. Michaels is at his best in the second half of blowout games.
