Default UK users please help

I am studying in Edinburgh for a semester and brought my 2001fp with me. Will it run on 240v or do i need to buy an adapter to convert it to the American 110v. Don't want to fry the thing. Thanks

According to Dell it will run on anything from 90 to 240 V AC. There should be a label close to the input that tells you the acceptable voltages. It should read something like this:
<font class="small">Code:</font><hr /><pre> Input: AC 90-240 V 50/60 Hz </pre><hr />

It'll work fine - the little box on the power cord is a transformer so the voltage will be converted.

I'm using a US-purchased model over here cos they're so much cheaper to buy in the US.

All you'll need is a plug adaptor.
