What would you do?

I have a bankroll of $25k. I play 400 NL 4 tables of Ring and in the last week have been crushing the 400 6 max game... should I take a shot at 1k NL or what? 25 buy ins seems like a lot...

25k is more then enought to play 5-10NL. But the question is on yourself. Can you beat the 5-10NL game? Nothing wrong with giving it shoots, but play whatever game is more profitable to you. In my case, i try not to play higher then 3-6nl on ub. But u can find me other places playing 10-20NL. its all a matter of were u can make the most money.

I'm not being sarcastic though, if someone gave me a free gift of 25k I have nothing better to do then play 50-100, especially because I dont play those stakes now. It would be fun, and hey, I could win.

this is my bankroll. not a free gift. dont defend yourself - you are one of the people who gives a sarcastic comment for everything. good for you but its not helpful... i am looking for real advice. thanks. if you have anything serious to add..

Why not 600 NL first? But yes, go ahead and take a shot, the 400 games will always be there and you can drop down after 5 or so buy-ins. This should give you an idea if you can beat the 5-10 games. At the site I play I don't find the 5-10 any different than the 2-4.

25K is more than enough for 5/10 NL. It's all a matter of whether you can stand losing 4 or 5 grand on a bad day, but there's no real insight we can give you as to how you would react to such a downswing.

Your question was awful though. Do you really expect people to say "yeah man go take a shot!" or "no man dont take a shot!" Play whatever you feel comfortable playing, how can someone here answer that for you?

Is 25 buyins enough for 5-10? Yes, it's plenty. Is this enough for an emotional br? Maybe. If you think it is, then by all means, if you're a winner at 2-4, go play bigger.
