Default Due to an extended perior of inactivity connection has been terminated

On the party skins, when data mining, I often come back to find this pop-up message

"Due to an extended period of inactivity, your connection has been terminated. Please click on OK to re-establish the connection"

How do you avoid this?? Will some sort of mouse movement avoid this?

Thanks!

What does it detect to notice 'inactivity' ? Is is the lack of any mouse movement, or does a table need to be continually moved or something? I plan to write a tiny program to stop them from closing the tables and displaying this message, wondering if anyone knows what they're basing inactivity off of. Thanks.

Dunno, mouse movement is pretty easy to fake so I'd imagine if the Party programmers had half a brain they'd disconnect anyone who logs on but never sits down at any tables.

Haha. When I datamine tonight I'll run some fake mouse movement and see if that does it. If not, I'll experiment a bit further.

Was the disconnect message from Party or from your ISP? If you have dial-up, your ISP will disconnect after some period of inactivity. You can change your ISP set-up to avoid this.

I used to get this if I minimized the windows while datamining.
