Default KK93 in 50 PLO/8 tourn

two-thirds of the way through (about 70-80 players left) I have about 4K and the blinds are around 150/300

1. I'm dealt KK93 single suit UTG at full table. I folded. Is my play correct?

2. At what point (position) do you come in with this hand? Limp or raise?

Almost never, unless there's

a) many limpers and you can get in on the button for a very small portion of your stack and try to flop a monster

b) heads up / 3 way at the end, when raising preflop will get you close to all-in

You still have both time and money. Why enter a pot where you are playing for high only (with a so so starting hand) in a split pot game? You will soon have to make a stand but I would wait untill I had a good hand that could scoop the pot. Your chips have a lot of value at this point, don't throw them away chasing maybe a part of a pot. Pick your spot and then push.
