Default How to play a Flopped Flush

Party Poker 0.50/1 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

I don't think I could have gotten villain out no matter how much I raised. But should I have tried and been more aggessive on the flop? Especially since I had the third highest flush with 2 cards to come.

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Hero posts a blind of $0.50.
UTG calls, UTG+1 raises, 3 folds, Hero (poster) calls, CO calls, 2 folds, BB calls, UTG calls.

Flop: (10.50 SB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (5 players)
BB checks, UTG checks, UTG+1 bets, Hero calls, CO raises, BB folds, UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, Hero calls.

Turn: (8.25 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
UTG+1 checks, Hero bets, CO raises, UTG+1 calls, Hero 3-bets, CO caps, UTG+1 calls, Hero calls.

River: (20.25 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
UTG+1 checks, Hero checks, CO bets, UTG+1 calls, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 23.25 BB

Nobody's folding a big spade but that's fine. Your equity is huge on the flop. I'd raise there and get some bets in.

i think you should just raise the flop since the pot is decently large already.

Raise flop. You wont get a K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] to fold but you have a very big equity edge in a multi-way pot.
