Tomorrow @ East Chicago Boats
Due to a combination of a downswing, the impending rampant drunkeness that is unofficial st. patrick's day at UIUC and cabin fever I'll be heading up to either Harrah's or Trump tomorrow (leaving after an 8AM class and some breakfast) for some 1-5 Stud (Harrahs) or 3-6 (Trump) from about 11-6 though I may stay overnight if I hit an especially good run/the game is too juicy to leave.
Asian kid with glasses and a grey knit cap. The trout thing and "Sup Bro?" are both acceptable forms of 2+2 identification. Expect a riveting trip report upon my return.

I'll also be up at Trump from U of I, avoiding UIUC's stupid bar holiday (I'm a grad student here). 3/6 or 5/10 hold em. Red Sox Hat, Lacoste jacket and big stack of chips* (*=hopefully). Will answer to sup bro reluctantly, wishing I was at jucier table.

Answering all 3 prior posts at once
I believe IronDragon was posting "tomorrow" around midnight, when he actually meant "later today" - I don't think there are Saturday classes, are there?
Downtown, it sounded like YOU meant Saturday, so I will be on the lookout for you at Trump -- I'll be there mid-morning through 5 or 6. Brown hair (I might be twirling with my index finger - it's not a tell, it's a habit from birth), bushy sideburns (reddish), playing 3/6 or 6/12 at Trump. And all IN casinos are 21+. I think that about settles it. CMP

I'll actually be there today... I'm an insomniac (and an Internet poker player - go figure.) I'll leave some fishies at the 6/12 for you, and be glad that yet another person at my table hasn't read SSH (already bringing 2 friends that have, is that -EV?).

I think that about settles it. CMP [/ QUOTE ] That is indeed is what I meant. Anyway I ended up leaving the C-U @ 9:30 I got to Harrah's around 11:30 and sat down to play at noon. I originally planned to do about 4 hours at Harrah's-get something to eat and go to Trump but I ended up staying till about 10:30 when I had to leave because of mild tilt/being very tired. Having gotten about four hours of sleep the night before I was extremely tired and ended up staying overnight at a Fairfield Inn in Bradley(Bourbonais..there) Highlights include: -Winning 14 BB @ 1-5 Stud -A crapload of mundane stud play not worthy of inclusion into a trip report -Losing a 40 BB pot with the second (out of three) full houses-You can read about this in the stud forum if you so desire. -Realizing that straight high stud poker is the most incredibly luck based game ever -The sheer volume of jackasses who play low limit B&M hold'em -Nearly dying on my way back due to not having any idea that the left lane was closed on I-80 -Finding out there ARE hot cocktail waitresses in midwest cardrooms I do, however, regret not heading out to Trump and missing the opportunity to holla at fellow 2+2ers and take money from jackasses. I'll make sure I get there at least in the next three weeks.

So let me get this straight - you're leaving Champaign because it's unofficial St. Patrick's day?
I'm confused. There is (or was, I guess, since I'm now an alum) nothing better than being drunk in my 2 o'clock ECE class on unofficial St. Patrick's day. Pipelined... Heh For those who are REALLY confused, U of I has an unofficial St. Patrick's day because the real St. Patrick's day is always during our spring break.
