Re: Dead Man Drawing
Very nice play.
I never show hands when I don't have to but this looks like as good a spot as any to show. Thoughts? |

I'd rather drink hydrogen than show this hand. |

[/ QUOTE ] Yeah, if you think showing this hand is +EV then you don't understand the hand very well. This whole hand hinges on Villians read of Tommy. He can't keep that image by showing this hand. Only if he faked the hitch, and we assumed he didn't. |

"Only if he faked the hitch, and we assumed he didn't."
i think when we're working the math out we need to add in a percent (like 10% or so, it's debatable) that his hitch is not faked, but just random. maybe he had a hiccup of some sort, or thought he caught someone out of the corner of his eye he owes money, or just remembered an errand he forgot to do, or is in the beginning phases of what will become a dramatic life ending case of what michael j. fox has, or well you get the idea. because i had at least two really nice really supreme live tells on people this year that ended up at the showdown being completely totally and randomly (meaning not faked/reverse tells) wrong. and for that many that were wrong i had at least 30 that were proven precise and correct. so this needs to be factored in and i think it's what makes a flop bet best. |

Extremely good post, Tommy. This post shows some of the beauties and intricacies of live play.
