-$980/month not including $25/month for water/trash, $50/month for phone/dsl and $50/2 months for electricity.
-West Los Angeles near Culver City, Santa Monica and Westwood. Nice neighborhood, convenient freeway access and only a few miles from the beaches.
-3rd floor studio
-Nice apartment complex with covered parking, two pools, two hot tubs, a fitness center and nice landscaping.
-Comfortable and quiet, fits my needs nicely.

I'd like to have covered parking, but with 8 cars out back, that would be hard.

You and your housemates have (on average) two cars each?

Yeah, that was confusing, my bad.

The first floor has 4 people living there too. However, it's 2 seperate units, so if the 1st floor is empty, second floor doesn't have to pay $3600 that month instead of the $1800.

997.50 (half the total) for the bigger bedroom of a duplex apartment on the UWS of Manhattan. The subway is 30 seconds from my bed. (Very nice neighborhood) The apartment has two big closets(one on each floor); 1.5 bathrooms, a living room, walk in kitchen, kitchen table area.

It's on the first and basement floors of an 1890 brownstone, and I have a fireplace.

I will probably never move.

-2 bedroom/2 bath apartment in Fullerton, CA. 5
minutes away from my state/jc colleges and downtown area where the nightlife is pretty good.
-Large apt. complex. Upstairs rooms are newly renovated with new tile floor, carpet, crown molding, granite countertops in kitchen along with new applicances.
-I'm the first to live in it since the renovation which i like a lot. Not huge, but the bedrooms are a good size. No complaints on it so far.

My bad. 2300 sq feet, 3 floors, 4 bedrooms (rent is split 4 ways), 2 1/2 baths. It's half a duplex right on a lake in a quiet cul-de-sac in metro-west MA. All utilities and W/D included.

The view from my deck:
