Default AA hand

Party game...

button is about 60/22/2.5. SB is even looser than that and less than half as aggressive.

I have my favorite hand in BB.

EP limp, button raises, SB of cours calls, I of course 3-bet, EP drops...3 to the flop ~10 SB's

Flop is A-high and very uncoordinated.

SB bets, I raise, button calls, SB calls.

Turn pairs whatever bottom card.

SB checks, I check

Beautiful.

Especially given the number of hands that are seeing the flop for the button, 2.5 is very aggressive (WtSD would also be useful). I think he almost always bets here, and you can check-raise the field. Most anything he checks through wasn't calling anyway, but may catch or call a river to catch a bluff, which may partly cancel out missing a bet from SB. Add in those times (often) when this c/r works and you get extra bets, and it is perfect.

Sounds that you're fairly confident button will bet.

what do you think about calling the flop and letting the button possibly raise, so that you can work in a CR on any turn. or is that just fps

I don't mind the turn check if you think that the button will for sure bet the turn. what do you do if it gets checked through, are you gonna lead out the river, raise the river, try to CR the river?

that usually just slows the fish up.. flop raise = g00t

I really like the turn c/r, gets them both in for 2BB's on turn.. wonderful

What's even more wonderful is when button checks here.

Chief: With a button that aggressive, if I think he might raise me, I like betting more often than checking.

I don't know for sure that button has a piece or pair or anything until he coldcalls. Once he does, I'm fairly certain whatever he called with he'll bet the turn with.

If the turn checked through I'm betting/raising the river.

If your read is that solid, of course you check the turn. You have to be right > 50% of the time, probably 60% of the time though, since he probably won't 3bet a check-raise, but he'll raise your bet some % of the time.

I agree on the percentage since you're right that every now and then he will raise.

I think it's still in the favor for a check/raise.

Getting both the SB and the Button in to the showdown for 3-bets a piece, I think, is worth the chance that it gets checked through.

It's probably close tho
