My turn aggression is much higher too. I think it's partly situations like those but also I think most tighter players underestimate implied odds and don't peel often enough with hands like gutshot draws. I think this is also why my variance is higher than average.

Yeah, that makes sense to. Nate's 77 post was great on that topic. I still need to print that out and really take time to digest it all.

This has been going on for a long time online.

Those who never noticed were probably making less than they could.

Although raising is nice, often you should just let them continue to Donkbet into you all the way to the river.

Yeah, I didn't mean to imply that I raise always. I don't. But obviously I've been folding less. I think I've noticed more recently because I've been playing more 6-max where as others pointed out it's even more prevelant.

couldn't agree more here...been seeing a lot of this so called donkbet from my right after i raise PF and the flop comes. The donkbet/raise - bet turn - bet river formula usually wins you the pot 75% of the time.

these new "buddies" are all over the party community and they love to rebuy.

I open raise J 8 on the button. Somewhat loose generally bad BB calls. Flop is Q9x two hearts. Donkbet, I raise, call. Turn is a blank. Check, bet, call. River is an offsuit T. Check, I give up and check. I win against J7o.

[/ QUOTE ]

I fully support checking the river with an 89TJQ straight.

I concur. I'm looser than a lot of posters and less aggressive, and this, I think is a reason why.

(Though I really should be a touch more aggressive)
