Default Sweat Session with Nfinity: 6 Max Madness Hand 1 Overpair

Learning this 6 max thing, nfinity sweating the entire session. Fun times, lots of variance. We discussed in depth two hands. Since hand discussions are always better with multiple heads, read and comment.

CO new to table (posted blind) UTG standard station, nothing tricky.

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. CO posts a blind of $1.
UTG calls, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, CO (poster) checks, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, UTG calls, CO calls.

Flop: (6.50 SB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, UTG calls, <font color="#CC3333">CO raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, UTG calls, CO calls.

No cap. Decent chance of still having the best hand. Lead turn or puss out?

Turn: (7.75 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, UTG calls, <font color="#CC3333">CO raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, UTG calls, CO calls.

No cap. Lead river?

River: (16.75 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">UTG raises</font>, CO calls, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 22.75 BB

Don't tell me UTG went the whole way with A5...

I'd call down after CO rises the turn, on the river looks like you're beaten, but I call 1 more bet since the pot got so big.

I call down his turn raise. What do you think he has that you beat?
Calling the river is borderline I think, but it's a big pot. You will almost ever win this against sane opponents.

Turn call down.

I wonder how often we're good on the river.

I saw players recently on several occasions that sat down on shorthanded tables and bluff-raised every street to leave soon after.

You say UTG isn't tricky? Overpair can't be good in this situation if your read is correct. I'd think: At least I'll see their holecards, so I can fold, when the CO calls...

Sure looks to me like CO flopped a set of 2's. Don't 3-bet turn.

I think your almost never a winner on the river here, Im putting UTG on 56 which gives him OESD which he sure as heck wont fold at this overly aggressive table, CO might have something like A7 and put you on BS, lets only hope he doesnt have some sort of terrible 2 pr. Anyways, after the turn reraise here, Im a calling station, You might still have the best hand, but I doubt it, the pots laying you great odds to call...
