200nl AA

ok there isnt much to this hand but i was wondering yea is this acceptable on the first hand i just sat at table and posted blind. this happend to me twice today the first time it was a shortstack raising and i only had KK. in SSnl is this kind of move profitable at all perhaps ill get a call or table image or get AA KK soon after and be able to look overagros again?

This is stupid. You should make a real raise that will likely be called, but this is stupid. Raise to 12 or 14. You won the bare minimum with your aces and first hand this won't be called ever unless you are lucky and they happen to have KK...chances of that are around 44-1. What a waste.

i agree with this unless u know that that min raise meant that he was calling off all of his chips no matter what. no scratch that even then this is is not good.

The good ole "Move of Honor" from 25NL lives. Even then, I wouldnt usually push over a min-raise. No, I dont think this one will be working that often at $200NL, except against the real dullards.
