Steve Guttenberg hit on my wife about two years ago (she was my fiance then). She didn't know who he was, but I thought it was the coolest thing ever. I watched way too much Police Acadamy growing up.

I looked through his list of credits on IMDB.com. The last movie that I remember him being in was "Home for the Holidays". The last movie that I actually watched that he was in was "Three Men and a Baby" -- which is from 1987 and makes me feel old.

Buzz Aldrin hit on my college girlfriend one time. He was like 65, and she was 18. Deal.

If I was there, I would've told her to go for it. How many people can say they f-ed a guy who stepped foot on the moon?

If you're so rich, why do you work at all any more?

I love the fame and the money and the power.

Kinda hard to argue with that.

Actor Steve Guttenberg was Hollywood's most bankable box office draw in the 1980s, clocking up hit films including four Police Academy movies, Three Men And A Baby and Cocoon.

I call BS on the opening line of this article, even without the figures to back it up.

I believe Harrison Ford was more bankable, and much more the leading man. Guttenberg was top billing in Police Acadamy, but these were ensamble movies. Cacoon he was secondary, and Three Men he was one of three headliners.

Here's what Ford starred in in the 80's:

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989)
Working Girl (1988)
Frantic (1988)
The Mosquito Coast (1986)
Witness (1985)
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984)
Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (1983)
Blade Runner (1982)
Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981)
Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980)

you are correct, even if you eliminated all Star Wars movies.

EDIT: just in case anyone did want numbers, the combined gross of Guttenberg's FOUR Police Academy movies = $209 million vs. the gross for Raiders of the Lost Ark = $209 million. i could do the math on the rest but i think the conclusion is clear enough already.
