Re: Four days and counting till Vegas!! Need some tips from you vets.
They're very different rooms. The Excalibur is spread limit and fairly low class with a rowdy clientel, while the MGM is a much nicer environment with traditional limit games starting at a slightly higher blind structure. Both have baby NL.
Money is to be made at either, so if you have the time it's worth checking them both out to try and find your niche. They're very close together, which makes that quite doable. Martin |

I like the bellagio buffett for lunch. It is almost the same as the dinner menu. If you are with any vegatarians, the Bellagio is by far the only acceptable one. [/ QUOTE ] Last time I went I had the Bellagio buffet for dinner on friday night. Wow it was good. Was well worth the $38 for king crab legs, prime rib, kobe beef, sushi, and much more. |

I was very satisfied with the French restaur @ WYNN.
I had italiano food at MGM and it too was good. hard to go wrong when you get to a restaurant that requires reservations and such. |

The Mandalay Bay buffet kicks ass. It's all about the seafood risotto.
Gold Coast runs a cheap-ass ($22 I think) tournament that everyone plays in Monday morning before heading out, or so I've heard. GVR seems to win for "least competent staff," though apparently great for yuppie/tourist hunting at the low-limit tables. |
