Default No flop no drop in NL holdem?

Usually in limit there is a no flop no drop, but in no limit it seems there would be a lot more blind stealing attempts going on, since raises can be significant. Since the blinds are almost always raked, how much more important is it to steal blinds in a live game rather than online? BTW, the blinds at my local casino (Viejas) are $3/$1 and the max buy-in is $300 as far as i know.
