Default chinese poker

I had a couple of difficult hands yestrday:

Q1
I had two options:
A)
Back: fours full of queens
Middle: Ace high flush
Top: jack high
B)
Back: ace high flush
Middle: set of eghts
Top: pair of queens

What is the best option?

Q2
When you have an option of putting two pair in the middle hand and nothing up front or one pair in the middle and two pair in front....when should you do what?

Q1: B looks better by a lot to me.

Q2: Depends on the pairs and how bad the nothing is.

question 1 is easily B. As for question 2 it's a difficult situation. In order to answer i'd have to know
1. What your pairs and unpaired cards were
2. How your opponent plays
