The sales tax, yes, but you still have to pay income tax on it, so be sure to put some money aside for that..

Yeah a $90k Porsche is considered income, so you'd have to pay income tax as if you had an extra job that payed you $90k salary.

Winning a $90k car is no different than winning $90k in a poker tournament as far as the IRS is concerned.

How do you find out how many hands you have so far in the month? (I don't just play HE so don't tell me to use PT...)

You could sell it easily on ebay...

I'm sure there would be 100's of people waiting to bid on your Porsche if they could get it 10k below retail.

I don't know. You see a lot of high priced cars on ebay but most are sold by dealers. Sure if you discount it enough, it will sell but all along the line you are losing money. You are not going to lose money here but I have a feeling you would be better off winning an 75K tournament than a 95K tournament if you don't want to keep the car. It is interesting how they say they pay the sales tax but it sounds to me like they pay nevada tax which may or may not be less than than your home state. I also like how they pick the color for you. I bet dark olive is popular

Lets be clear it would still be great problem to have but I would be a lot more excited about 95K to buy the car of my dreams or even just straight cash.
