There is, but I'm an independent contractor, and don't get that perk

Coors, if you're wondering...

[/ QUOTE ]

I worked in Golden (not at Coors) for about six months. Coors there used to have a policy where everyone got something like 2 or 3 beers a day for free. They ended that a number of years back, since all their employees would toss back a couple before hitting the icy roads.

Heheh interesting. Nice policy, but it sounds almost impossible for it not to backfire. Too bad.

So I have a friend who works at coke and he told me that if he gets caught drinking Pepsi (or any other of cokes competitors). While he is working he would be fired. I’m not sure on how this works but is this legal?

[/ QUOTE ]

Legal and standard. Do you see why? Deangelo Hall learning the hard way that when you represent a product, you must use that product.

Blasphemers. Pepsi is the drink of the Gods.

[The Vibesman holds a can up, label out for the camera]:
The Vibesman: Pepsi. It's got the sugar I need to get me going, and enough caffeine to last me through the day.
{The Vibesman takes a big swig, holds the can back out]:
The Vibesman: Ahhh, Pepsi. Bitches.

Even the celebrity endorsers are barred from drinking the competing product by contract. If Britney Spears is in an ad campaign for Pepsi she can get sued by Pepsi for drinking Coke.
